I just finished reading "Breakfast at Sally's" by Richard LeMieux.   Be sure to have a box of tissues handy for this inspirational book.  I highly recommend this memorable book.

For an insight to what it means to be homeless read it. This true and touching journey of a man with depression and his little dog Willow, refutes stereotypes about the homeless. Once you read it you will do doubt become more compassionate and empathetic towards homeless people.... If you have already read it, share your thoughts.

Pets of the Homeless received a grant for $2,584 from the WHC Foundation, a local private foundation that makes small grants exclusively to animal organizations that are 501(c ) (3) entities.  Their hope is to inspire other private foundations to follow suit.
