Had a pretty good day for a Tuesday
On the street corner down by the mall.
Got two dollars here and three dollars there
And pretty soon thirteen in all.
And Dusty was cheerful as ever,
For reasons I can’t even say,
But when everything fails he’s still wagging his tail,
All in all, had a pretty good day.

For dinner we got Number Seven,

Feeding Pets of the Homeless
Gives a voice
For care and kindness
To those with no choice.
 
How did this happen?
We don't know
Where do they come from?
Where do they go?
 
Homeless wanderings all alone
Some have pets they call their own
How do they manage?
What do they eat?
 
Missions and shelters offer retreat...
