Give a Dog a Bone Week
11th Annual nationwide Give a Dog a Bone Week: August 10-16, 2020
This annual event is a national effort to raise awareness and to help local communities across the U.S raise donations of pet food and supplies for pets of the homeless population.
This is an exceptional year with the pandemic and people losing their jobs. Homelessness continues to be an issue in many cities. With unemployment expected to rise, the need for pet food and supplies will increase as more people become homeless. Give a Dog a Bone Week brings together over 200 pet food donation sites across America.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Donate Pet Food and Supplies: You can participate by donating pet food and supplies at a donation location near you, or if you do not have a location nearby, you can drop-ship pet food to local food banks and shelters in your community. Click HERE to find a donation site near you.
Make a Donation: Donations allow our organization to help provide emergency veterinary care, as well as provide crates to shelters to keep pets and humans together, and other services. Donate today!
Purchase a T-Shirt: This year we’ve created a special t-shirt commemorating Give a Dog a Bone Week. Proceeds from your order go directly to Feeding Pets of the Homeless. Purchase your shirt today!
Your donations will help feed and provide much-needed supplies to local pets of the homeless in your area. Or you can donate to Feeding Pets of the Homeless, which will help us provide wellness clinics, food, assistance for emergency care, and supplies across the nation.
