Success Story “CocoBean”

Pets of the Homeless received a call from a homeless woman who lives in her car in Tacoma, WA with her four-year-old spayed female Pit Bull Terrier, CocoBean.  CocoBean’s owner was worried because she was having seizures.  We approved an examination.

Pets of the Homeless Case Manager spoke with the veterinarian who recommended iv fluids, with phenobarbital (anti-seizure medication), as well as blood work.  We assisted with this treatment.  CocoBean was diagnosed with epilepsy.

CocoBean’s owner called to say thank you so much and that she was doing much better.
