Success Story: Molly

Success Story: Molly

A woman has been living in her RV with no hookups in San Jose, CA for the past 2 years.
She had no transportation and receives food stamps to get by. She reached out to Feeding Pets of the Homeless because her 9-month-old female terrier, Molly, was not eating or drinking and had been vomiting for several days. We completed an intake interview, and we were able to verify her living situation. They were approved for a walk-in exam at a partner veterinary hospital in the area. During her exam, Molly was given a SNAP parvo test that came back positive.
At that point, it was determined that she would need hospitalization due to severe illness.
Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed $1,900 towards parvovirus treatment and hospitalization. Molly is expected to make a full recovery.
